MAART  X  Studio Teigetje&Woelrat® Amsterdam

For the past year I have been working with Studio Teigetje&Woelrat.

 

We met eachother for the first time in their booth at the Kunstrai in 2023.  Very quickly after that I was invited to their atelier where they create their couture and knitted art. They asked me to create a bag for their new collection and ofcourse I immediately said: Yes!

​

I started working with the beautiful materials they use in their garments and together we came to a beautiful piece.  A very special bag that has an extremely luxereous look and is crocheted with five separte threads. 

It is my own signature design crocheted with Teigetje& Woelrats peruvian 100% pimacotton from Industrial Ambrosiana Filati.

Sunday the 29th of october I had the honor to also show the bag in the Teigetje & Woelrat fashion show in The Hilton Hotel in Amsterdam next to their beautiful garments.

 

I can not be more grateful for this opportunity and experience. Teigetje and Woelrat are amazing designers, couturiers and people that I look up to.
