MAART ateliers was established in 2023.

 

The bags are designed with a focus on sustainability and in the hope to create a timeless design. The bags are made of 100% organic cotton and are made to last.
 

MAART bags are handmade and designed by Maartje Stapel.

She is a fine artist and designer who lives and works in amsterdam. Maartje has been working with textile since she was a young girl.

 

Besides her love for making bags she also likes to incorporate her textiles in her artistic practice and studies.

This year she will be graduating from the Gerrit Rietveld academie in Amsterdam.
